Ellen and Terence were super sweet and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home without being intrusive. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathroom had everything we needed. the only thing missing was a chill spot outside to really soak in the gorgeous views. Loved every minute of our stay! ☺

The rooms at Lilac Manor are cozy and comfortable, with a relaxed seating area where we could unwind after a long day of exploring. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept us entertained, and the private bathroom with a hairdryer was a convenient touch. We loved the triple room with the electric kettle, perfect for brewing a hot cup of tea whenever we wanted. And the mountain view from the double room added a touch of tranquility to our stay. the rooms provided the perfect sanctuary for our getaway.
Personally, I would have preferred a different type of TV feature than just satellite channels.

During my recent Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by two facts offered by the hotel. the location was key, being only a short 5-minute drive from town. This allowed for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle. the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, attending to all of our dietary needs. the room was clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, providing a pleasant view from the bedroom window. a highly enjoyable experience.
One minor drawback was that the accommodation was situated on the outskirts of town, requiring the use of a car to go anywhere for a meal. as with any place, there were some stairs that needed to be used, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues.
